Chris Hansen slams Robert Pattinson’s portrayal in ‘Primetime’ as “Overly Dramatic”
Former To Catch a Predator host Chris Hansen says he is not impressed with Robert Pattinson’s take on him in A24’s new thriller Primetime.
The film, directed by Lance Oppenheim and released on September 25, is based on the controversial 2000s television show hosted by Hansen.
Speaking on Fox News’ Jesse Watters Primetime in August, Hansen said he walked out of A24’s offices without watching the film after the distributor asked him to sign a legal agreement he described as unlike anything he had encountered before.
Hansen called Pattinson’s performance “overly dramatic,” though he added his family thought the impression was fairly accurate.
Primetime has Pattinson playing a version of Hansen in a dramatized retelling of the To Catch a Predator era.
