Mumbai: Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty traded marginally higher in early trade on Thursday after the U.S. Federal Reserve’s rate hike, with NSE IPO in focus.
The gains came as crude oil prices eased slightly from their recent highs, though caution prevailed following the Fed’s hike and indications of further tightening.
Foreign fund outflows and a muted trend in Asian markets also capped gains in domestic equities during initial trading.
