Hyderabad: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries will extend Most Favoured Nation (MFN) pricing to state Medicaid programmes of the U.S. It has also committed to MFN pricing for future innovative medicine launches.
The U.S. is the company’s largest market for innovative medicines and a cornerstone of its long-term growth strategy, generating approximately 27% of the company’s global revenue.
The announcement followed a White House ceremony on August 31, in which the U.S. government signed agreements with nine pharmaceutical companies, including Sun Pharma, aimed at improving access to affordable medicines for millions of Americans.
